About Us

The Elochoman Valley Partners LLC, formed in May 2002, is a partnership of people with develop- mental challenges and similar needs who also receive services from the Wahkiakum County Health and Human Services Department.

Our mission is to offer our Partners opportunities for self-employment, as well as lasting social contacts, with the local community.

With our motto, “Meeting Challenges Together,” the Partners serve the community as a much needed resource for temporary labor projects, support for vending machine routes, office staff support, janitorial and maintenance needs, and other basic community needs.

Our very first venture was supplying firewood and kindling products packaged in a comfortable carry-home size. These packets continue to be very popular items throughout Wahkiakum County.

From there, we have branched into a variety of business ventures and community services and welcome the opportunity to bid on building maintenance and property management contracts.

When needed, our Partners are supported by a Job Coach who works with our local business clients to facilitate job training, build solid working relationships, and ensure the success of each supported employment assignment. As the Partner builds competence in an assignment and natural, on-the-job supports increase, the Job Coaching slowly fades.

Our two flagship businesses, the Made In Wahkiakum retail store and the Temporary Staffing Agency, offer job connections not only for the Partners, but also to anyone looking for employment opportunities in the community.

Of course, we’d like to recognize our good fortune and give a hearty “thanks” to all the businesses, government agencies, non-profits, and individuals in our local southwest Washington communities who have supported us and offered us the opportunity to serve their needs. We appreciate the continued patronage of all our loyal customers!
